We are pleased to announce that in the second week of March we sold our stake in Atlantic Paro AS. The Supramax dry bulk carrier, Paro, was in our portfolio since April 2021. This investment turned out really well and resulted in a return in excess of our target IRR of 15-20%.

Delivery of M/T Donia & M/T Tellus

Lunasol Polaris is pleased to announce the delivery of two chemical tankers, marking another meaningful step towards the expansion of our vessel portfolio.

M/T Donia & M/T Tellus were both delivered on 3 March 2026 at 09:00 CET in Porvoo, Finland. Following their delivery, Donia and Tellus have commenced employment under time charter contracts and will trade primarily in the Baltic and North Sea.

On 26 November 2025 at 20:00 LT, the Luna Discovery was successfully delivered in Yokohama, Japan. 

The 37,000 DWT Handysize vessel has recently completed her 15-year Special Survey.

In the coming days she will commence her employment, after takeover by our technical manager Tide Line and their crew.

Naming Ceremony of M/V Beltmar and M/V Bothniamar

On Monday, 13 October, the naming ceremony for two newly built minibulkers, M/V Beltmar and M/V Bothniamar, was held at the Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industries shipyard near Shanghai.  Leen Ghesquière and Barbara Blackburne-Jonckers had the honour of serving as godmothers to M/V Beltmar and M/V Bothniamar, respectively.

These versatile coastal mini-bulkers are set to operate primarily in Northern Europe under time charter contracts after their delivery in November 2025 (M/V Beltmar) and January 2026 (M/V Bothniamar) and consequent repositioning from the Far East.

Lunasol Polaris was represented at the ceremony by Luc Synaeghel (CEO), Olivier Lenaerts and Martin Hauge.

Their strong commercial and technical performance contributed significantly to the successful execution of this project, although our normal IRR target was not reached.
